Brina Romanek is an International Emmy winning documentary editor and a director.  Her work has streamed on CBC, CRAVE, PBS, TVO, and HBO.

As a director, her film Portrait of Pockets, was listed as a "Must Watch in 2020" by the Hot Docs Film festival. Her previous film Counting on a New Crop was selected for the NSI Online Short Film Festival.

Brina is interested in telling stories that inspire intergenerational healing and reciprocity amongst all living beings (including trees!)

 

In her spare time, Brina volunteers at a forest school in Tkaranto (Toronto) and loves it. She is also an avid book worm.
